You know how sometimes you can be in one particular mood, say for example a bit wet and bedraggled having just completed a rainy run, looking forward to a coffee and some warm clothes but nothing more exciting than that, and then something happens that totally changes your mood instantly? Well that’s what happened when I saw a package from the USA on my doormat this morning!

Yep, it was my House Hunters International DVD!!! I had been expecting to wait at least another couple of weeks for it to arrive, so it was a complete surprise and sent me into ‘dance-around-the-house-like-a-mad-woman’ raptures!

I got myself together after about 5 minutes and put the DVD into the player. Now I had already seen the episode on its air date 29th August, via FaceTime with my friend who lives in Maryland, but that was at 3:30 in the morning on a tiny screen with parts of the sound missing. So this was the first real time of seeing it.

Verdict: I didn’t say anything too stupid, and I didn’t make a fool out of myself! Woohoo!

I think the show is great, but of course I would :) It’s on YouTube in 2 parts so have a look and let me know what you think in the comments. Be nice!

In true actor stylee (as if!!) thanks go to Claire for asking me to take part in the first place; Mark and Caroline for being such a lovely couple to work with; Izzy, Phil, Ray and Ed for being a fab crew; the editing people for not using that silly comment I made about the garden gnome; and finally to Helen, Phil, Thomas & Ben for their great house and being as excited as I was on the day of filming!
